Gypsy Rising Yoga

Gypsy Rising is a yoga studio in Pekin, Illinois that has the purpose of uplifting the community one yoga class at a time. With a wide range of offerings, the owner of Gypsy Rising welcomes all skill levels to her yoga studio.

Deliverables on this project included:

  • Logo design 

  • Custom website design in Squarespace 7.1 

  • Integration of Acuity/Squarespace Scheduling 

  • Integrating Square for payments 

  • SEO (search engine optimization)-completed back end SEO in Squarespace

Logo Design

Here is one example of the logo I designed based off of the business owner’s original vision. Working together to polish and idea is always fun!

Site Icon Design

It’s all in the details! This is the site icon logo that replaced the generic Squarespace logo in the web address that matches the brand aesthetic.

Acuity Scheduling Integration

The studio owner needed a scheduling process that worked on auto pilot. Acuity Scheduling is a great tool owned by Squarespace that easily integrates into a website in need of the ability to have clients choose their class time or book an appointment.

Some of the deliverables in this integration included:

  • Class and special event set-up

  • Policies, terms and conditions with the ability for the client accept these

  • New client waiver form-linked in the scheduler and as a back end page on the Squarespace website

  • Ability to purchase class packages and offer discounts

  • Gift certificates

  • Integration with Square for payment processing.

This system essentially works on autopilot once all types of appointments/events have been set up. Confirmation emails and reminders can be automated and customized.
